Wordfence says “all in one wp…MALICIOUS USER AGENT BLOCKED”

    Uploaded AIOWPS&F to https://greatribulation.com but didn’t completely set it up, it is activated. And my other wp site in same cpanel acct. https://jazweeh.com same server. Jazweeh.com is using wordfence security. In live traffic WF at Jazweeh.com is now showing/blocking a bunch of security risks shown in live traffic as coming from the greatribulation.com site—The warnings in live traffic below.

    “blocked by firewall for Known malicious User-Agents at https://www.greatribulation.com/wp-login.php”

    Venezuela was blocked by firewall for Known malicious User-Agents at https://www.greatribulation.com/wp-login.php

    So my question I am guessing this is just a clash in security. I did not know websites would mix up like that though. Does that mean the WF is blocking for the entire server? Is that why it listed greatribulation in jazweeh live traffic? What do you guys think I should do? Also I want a free/reliable or cheap “live traffic” plugin WF doesn’t seem to be working like it used to.

    Hi,

    So my question I am guessing this is just a clash in security.

    Sometimes having more than one security plugin can clash with each other. In my opinion, I would choose one of the two. Both security plugins are great. It is up to you to find out which one works best for your environment.

    So it seems either I have to use WF across the board –every site on my server. Or the sites with WF will have endless scary warnings in red in WF live traffic like “creepy user agents” & “dangerous zombie code afoot!”(ok no they didn’t really say creepy & zombies) when any sites on server have all in one security firewall plugin. Long story short -Apparently I can’t mix security plugins on same server even though they are on separate sites.

    Sites affected-

    https://greatribulation.com
    https://watchmanforthatgreatday.com
    https://jazweeh.com

    & the ‘all in one’ (no WF) sites will be racked with security warnings from WF pop ups ‘potentially dangerous action!’ when editing ‘all in one’ plugin installed sites that do not have WF installed.

    Here’s a big thankyou to both the security plugins Wordfence & All in one S, F. After all they are free versions, I won’t look a gift horse in the mouth today anyway.

    Seems Wordfence is just doing a good job with it plugin (free version). When & if I am prepared to switch all my sites to All in One I will. Then it would be fine. They do have the handy “import & export” settings. This makes it fairly easy to switch to all in one security firewall plugin
