I keep getting this error when initiating scan. My IIS server has both the http and https bindings for this site. How do I tell my server to send the correct URL (https)

    • Scan FailedThe scan has failed because we received an unexpected response from the Wordfence servers. This may be a temporary error, though some sites may need adjustments to run scans reliably. Click here for steps you can try.(opens in new tab)The error returned was:WordFence API error: Your blog did not send us a site URL in a valid format. We received: http:/nihcarewards.org

  • Thanks for reaching out.

Looking at what you wrote, I’d say that in your settings somewhere you have entered the URL missing a slash.
    We received: http:/nihcarewards.org
You could try searching the database for that exact string to find out where it was listed as such. I would suggest looking at the WordPress General Settings page to make sure that the values for WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are entered correctly. Since these values can also be entered as constants in the wp-config.php file you might check there for a mistake as well if the constants were entered there.
