• I am a programmer and have sifted through Wordfences code in order to make some alterations.

    It is quality code.

In as far as the product goes, I have tried several cache engines as well and Falcon which is built into WordPress performs on par with pretty much all the others of similar function. Its VERY adept. Considering it gives your website active security at the same time as the caching it really outperforms the other cache plugins.

So its twofold. Not only does it provide really great protection in respect to security and pretty decent security audit information but atop that it makes your site perform on par with any other cache engine I tested against.

Its a winner. Integrates easy. And atop that for sites where you might be using multiple theme’s via a theme switcher, Wordfence is smarter than the rest, it knows it.

Unfortunately it wont cache multiple templates although IMHO the author(s) could probably implement that pretty easily (and a great idea). Every other cache engine I tried goes completely south when it comes to multiple templates.

This is a really quality piece of work.
