Wordfence plugin totally gone!?

Didn’t want to post link due to the matter of possible intrusion.
However, my installation (Premium) is gone from my WordPress. The folder is still in my ftp, but it’s just some css and images.
I can’t see no other reason than some kind of hack, which I had hoped wordfence would have stopped, apparently not. This is very serious!!
I expect to get help with cleaning it, the site still work but who knows what’s going on!
I had the plugins listed to be backdoors by wordfence. recaptcha and duplicate post removed, if they were causing this I don’t know.
