Wordfence not sending emails

Hi,

I have a few questions to help get you an answer. Is this a new install of Wordfence? If not, were email notifications working at some point? What version of Wordfence and WordPress are you running?

Hi, thanks for the response. This is not a new installation, the notifications were working for sometime, it was only recently that I noticed that I was’t getting notifications.

I’m running Wordfence 6.1.10 and wordpress 4.5.3

Hi, just to provide you with an update, I have isolated the issue to a plugin called Picu.. When Picu is activated it prevents wordfence from sending the emails.

Hey, so im currently working with the plugin developer on this issue.
It seems that their plugin works with everything on my site, it is only the alert emails from woodfence that do not send when the plugin is activated.

All of my other messages send fine.

Could their be a issue within woodfence that prevents the emails gong through.

From the woodfence diagnostics panel i get the following error:

Your test email was sent to the requested email address. The result we received from the WordPress wp_mail() function was: False

A ‘True’ result means WordPress thinks the mail was sent without errors.
A ‘False’ result means that WordPress encountered an error sending your mail.
Note that it’s possible to get a ‘True’ response with an error elsewhere in your mail system that may cause emails to not be delivered.
