• Hello,

I have been using Wordfence for a long time now, and it seems to be doing a good job except it does not automatically block IPs as I want it to. I have gotten over 100 failed login attempt emails this morning alone, and the IPs are not in the block list, so they just keep attempting.

I have set “Immediately lock out invalid usernames:, which every username used is not valid, but it does not seem to lock them out. I even put those invalid usernames in the “Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as these usernames” section, but that doesn’t work either.

I just tried clicking on “Disable config caching”, but that didn’t seem to help.

Any help is appreciated, these emails have to stop..

    Thanks!

By not blocking IPs, I mean I do not see any listed under the tab “Blocked IPs” and am now getting 1 email of a “lockdown event” per minute. I understand the email is saying there is a lockdown event, however, shouldn’t the IP be under blocked ips?
