Wordfence Mode Disabled Permanently

  • You know how you can click LEARNING MODE or one other option? when I go there, I can click the options but IT NEVER SAVES. I have had to disable wordfence to work on my pages every time because it will nto let me save anything especially when I use thrive themes. Only on this ONE site, all of my other sites are fine.

  • Hi @p2tl,

    Wordfence overwrites a file at /wp-content/wflogs/config.php for the extended firewall.

    It’s possible that Wordfence is unable to write to that folder, can you check if /wp-content/wflogs/config.php and its folder /wp-content/wflogs/ can be written to?

    You can check Wordfence -> Tools -> Diagnostics -> Filesystem to see if there are any issues there.

    Hi Dave. Thank you. It said the wflogs was fine. The only error I saw was this:

    Connectivity Ability to connect to the Wordfence servers and your own site.

    OK
    Connecting back to this site
