I’m trying to use wordfence but after activating it by going to its settings it asks me every time to redo the installation. Whichever tab I click requires the installation and insertion of the email. Complete and go ahead. But go back to the plugin dashboard and if I try to go to the scan card or others, however, the installation restarts, a message at the top says that the wordfence installation is not complete.
I have also read several topics here that have been closed but no one explains by which method.
I add that on another site of the same hosting everything works perfectly. What can be the reason?

  • Hey @ivan10grazie,

It sounds like there might be a conflict either with the theme or one of the plugins you’re using, could you try temporarily switching to a default theme if you’re not already using one and disabling all other plugins then reactivating them one by one to see if the issue persists?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I can’t change the theme being a tube site with videos already embedded and risk of losing all the work

    Hey @ivan10grazie,

Are you able to create a staging site on the same server to test for the conflict? This is really the first thing to rule out, and I also believe it to be the issue.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

Other sites on the same server are functioning properly

    Hey @ivan10grazie,

Thanks for the update. This rules out a server configuration issue.

Are you able to create a staging site on the same server to test for the conflict?

    Thanks,

yes, I can create a site on another domain that I have already configured on the server. How should it be specifically configured? I ask this because the problem occurs with 3 similar sites made with the same template ..

    Hey @ivan10grazie,

I would clone a site with the issue so that it’s a duplicate, then start the testing. There are several options and plugins to clone and migrate a site. A quick search on the www.remarpro.com repo will turn up many options. Alternatively, your host may be able to help with this as well.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
