    i am getting fake traffic from some range of ip . which are from cloudflare vpn and i have block all this range ip . when i try to login wordfence block me and i got mail with wrong ip .

    in mail i got my ip range which i have block 172.xx. but when i check my ip it start from 202 in everywhere . i dont know what is the problem with word fence . after blocking wide range ip i am currently getting fake traffic .

    Hi @janakkafle

    It sounds like you haven’t configured Wordfence to detect IP addresses correctly.

    You will need to delete your blocking rules.

    In the How does Wordfence get IPs subsection of the General Wordfence Options section on the All Options page you will need to set and save the option Use the Cloudflare “CF-Connecting-IP” HTTP header to get a visitor IP. Only use if you’re using Cloudflare.

    You can then find your IP address here (note that this detection is not always 100% accurate on cellular phone network connections):

    https://whatismyipaddress.com/

    You should then see your IP address on the line Your IP with this setting.
