    Hi,
    I discover that sometimes /4 times in month/ my instalation of WF dissapears.
    in plugins\wordrence are only 3 empty folders lib, vendors, waf
    all entries in DB stays.
    when I upload data from backup everything works fine until new dissapearing.
    Then I have to activate WF.

    Before this WF did not send any warning about atack.

    when I try to upgrade to new version I could not.
    It says ” was unable to remove old version” and I have to delete directory manualy and new instalation.

    Hello,

    Sorry to hear that you are having this trouble. Because you are having this problem occur often it could be due to having a lack of memory when Wordfence auto-updates.

    Please go to the bottom of the Diagnostics tab on the Tools page and click on the link:

    Click to view your system’s configuration in a new window

    On the subsequent page can you tell me the value for memory_limit

    Hi wfphil,
    php limit is 300 and wp memory was set to 40. I increased to 300M too.
    I will turn auto-updates on.
    On site I can see also 503 error but on page is max 100 users.

    Hello,

    Your memory limit is fine.

    What you can do is disable this setting on the Options page:

    Update Wordfence automatically when a new version is released

    Make sue that you have these settings enabled in the Alerts section on the Options page:

    Alert on critical problems
    Alert on warnings

    You will receive an email when a new version of Wordfence is available and you can test to see if the update process is causing the problem.

    With regards your 503 response code speak to your hosting provider first for assistance.
