    Hi,

    Ok, so…

This is ONLY happening on one of my sites, not on all of them, but my hosting company is claiming it’s WF.

I was using WP-Cache before, then I uninstalled it b/c someone said that was conflicting with WF. So then I installed W3 Total Cache & I thought it was working, but when I got this error inside & asked my hosting company about it https://awesomescreenshot.com/0683r1jgd0 they said it was b/c of WordFence & they deactivated it again.

I have not been able to use WF on this site & I don’t understand why. Every other site has WF on it.

Please help, my site is unprotected.

    Thanks

    Michelle

  • Since you have already deleted the plugin I will close this issue. I’d point out that Wordfence Security has been downloaded 4,254,761 times as of this post and I haven’t heard of WF causing permissions issues in any other case that wasn’t explained away and proven to be another plugin or server issue. That yours has permissions issues says you need to go back to your server and figure out why your caching plugins can’t create directories. We occasionally see this happen to our plugin too, where a directory or file can’t be created and almost always its a permissions issue. Sorry that you and your designer feel this is a wordfence issue but I’m not sure I can agree with sparse proof and no other reports.

Good luck with your site and have a happy 2015. ??
