• hi,

I activated the plugin, and The plugin has disabled some features of other plugins.
Then I deleted the plugin, but its effect is still valid, and technical support told me to send you this image

(( We recommend you send this screenshot to wordfence team and ask them to disable these requests. ))

Hi @emtex thank-you for getting in touch.

Firstly, Learning Mode could help allow any blocked actions and retain that information for allowing the operations seamlessly in future. From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform or trigger the actions that were causing issues. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

If that doesn’t work, I would expect these blocks and the reason for them to show in your Live Traffic feed. You could try checking this immediately after seeing the mesage in your screenshot, just to see whether you’re able to click on the Live Traffic entry to expand it, and select the “ADD PARAM TO FIREWALL ALLOWLIST” button.

Let me know how you get on!
    Peter.

Thank you for this detailed response ,

How can I delete the plugin deeply, because even with the deletion of the plugin it still works and disables the permissions of some plugins
And this is the response of technical support for one of the plugins after I copied your answer to them:
Our development team did a check and here is the updated information from our development team:
Wordfence doesn’t seem to accept the request and even word-fence is in learning mode.
We are very sorry that we cannot be of assistance with this matter.
Please check with Wordfence Support/Development Team to solve the above issue.

this from support of plugin :

    Hi,

    We understand your scenario.

What is the cause of this issue ?
?Wordfence is blocking all our requests from our plugin.

How to resolve this issue ?

This has to be fixed from Wordfence end and not from our plugin.
We recommend you send a screenshot/ video screencast to wordfence team and ask them to disable these requests. https://nimb.ws/AlYo96

    thanks

Hi @emtex, thanks for the extra information.

This is the first case I’ve heard of where the Wordfence blocking page still shows when it’s been confirmed as disabled and deleted from the site in question. Even if database tables remained in tact, I wouldn’t expect firewall blocks to still be occurring with no front-end content remaining in your plugins folder. Our documentation has information on how to fully ensure the plugin has been removed (including manual removal steps): https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/remove-or-reset/

The Wordfence Assistant plugin can also assist in ensuring data has been removed. If none of these approaches work, it could be considered that Wordfence installed on a parent directory, or somehow on another site (if you’re on shared hosting) could be affecting your website’s directory.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    Hi,

The exact same thing is happening to me. I have been trying again and again to simply upload a newer version of a plugin that I already have installed so I can manually update that plugin. WordFence has blocked the operation every single time and I do not see any record of that blocked action in the live traffic area. I deleted the plugin and WordFence is STILL blocking the action.

This is extremely frustrating as I am at a loss as to why this is happening.
