• I have used DesktopServer to run a copy of my website on my desktop for testing purpose for more than a year now. From time to time I copy my database, plugins, themes and uploads using UpdraftPlus. Wordfence is installed on both production and test environments. It has been working fine for more than a year now.
Yesterday I noticed I could not access my test website (server not responding). I tried to regenerate a new test environment and after many trials realized that the issue had to do with Wordfence.
If I delete the plugin files from the plugin directory (but not the database tables) it will work again. If I copy the files back, and then activate Wordfence, I will loose connection.
    Can you help?

I’m using the latest version of DesktopServer and Wordfence. The issue exists with WP 4.5.3 and 4.6.

Precision: I removed all wf tables from the database and made a fresh install of wordfence. Impossible to activate it in Desktopserver environment.
