I haven’t changed anything recently. I just got 2 warnings on 2 different websites.

Should I uninstall and re-install? I don’t want to lose my configuration!

  • Hi @fallback2,

We’re sorry for the trouble you’re experiencing with our plugin.

Just to clarify, if its a cache issue, please try clear all your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser. If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

    Does this resolve the issue?

If the issue persists, indeed you can try uninstall and reinstall the plugin. This won’t cause you lose data and settings as information are store in database.
