Wordfence flagging cache from W3 Total Cache as malicious
-
About a week ago, Wordfence scans started flagging files in my wp-content/cache/object/000000/ directory as possible malicious code. Because it is temporary cache files that change constantly, I can’t just delete or ignore the issues in Wordfence to make it stop flagging them. The files keep getting remade so the flags keep popping up.
I have been using Wordfence and W3 Total Cache together for many months without any issues, and I did not change anything recent so I am not sure what is causing this issue to pop up now. I update everything to the latest versions always right away. I have also confirmed that the Wordfence flags are false positives because they go away if I disable W3 Total Cache. I also have the caching from Wordfence disabled so there should be no conflict there.
Does anyone have any ideas how to get Wordfence to stop flagging the cache from W3 Total Cache in the scans as possibly malicious since I know it is safe?
Thanks in advance for any help.
