Wordfence firewall not running

    Hi,

    i running a free versiosn of wordfence on site, so recently i start get

    Critical Problems:
    Web Application Firewall is disabled.

    Firewall issues may be caused by file permission changes or other technical problems.

    and i tried activating but i keep on getting –
    The Wordfence Web Application Firewall cannot run

    and the wflogs premission is 0000.

    Please how do i solve these issue.

    Can you please try resetting the wflogs to 0644 and let me know if it helps?

    I’m curious to know how these permissions were changed, and if any other might’ve been as well. You might reach out to your host for their thoughts. They’ll also be able to quickly and recursively check the rest of your file and directory permissions to make sure they’re correct.
