    Bonjour, J’utilise les plugins Wordfence et Page counter. Il me semble que les attaques bloquées par Wordfence s’ajoute au compteur de page. Ce qui fausse les stats des compteurs de pages. Je comprend le phénomène comme la requête arrive sur le site , le page counter est incrémenté et ENSUITE Wordfence bloque la requête. Si ma logique est bonne ! comment changer la séquence d’activation des plugins pour en 1 blocage de la requête et seulement et seulement si wordfence laisse passer la requête l’incrémentation du compteur de page s’enclanche. Si vous avez une astuce, je suis preneur. Je pourrais “trapper” les IP entrantes et décelées comme attaque et les bloquer via .htAccess (pénible comme boulot, il y a mieux à faire). D’avance merci pour votre aide. Thierry artetvino.net, phyterma.eu, 123neuroweb.eu/drones ;

    I provide here a translation of Tibeau’s message. He will correct me if the sense has been perverted in any way:

    Hello,
    I use the plugins Wordfence and Page counter. It appears that the attacks blocked by Wordfence are added to the page counter, which falsifies the page counter statistics. I understand that the request arrives at the site, the page counter is incremented and only then does Wordfence block the request. If this logic is correct, how can the order of plugins be changed so that the page counter is incremented only if Wordfence allows the request. If you have a hint, I am ready to try it. I would be able to trap the incoming IP addresses identified as attacks and block them via .htaccess (a tedious job and I have better things to do)
    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi @tibeau, @josiah-s-carberry,

    Attacks blocked by Wordfence will give a 503 HTTP response code.

    The Page counter plugin should check the response code on requests made in WordPress. You can then choose to exclude specific ones from the page count; in this case, the 503 response code.

    Not to mention a page counter is pretty 1990’s…. LOL
