Wordfence Did Not Detect Newly Added Unauthorized Users

    Wordfence Version 5.3.11

    Had problems logging onto my site. Changed password more than once. Logged back in I was locked out. Once I was logged back in, finally left the backend open for over 24hours.

    Today discovered 2 unauthorized users in the user list as admins. WordPress settings the ‘allow anyone to register’ is unchecked so I am not sure why they are there or who they are.

    The free version of Wordfence has not picked this up so i am very concerned. I am not sure what to do. Is this usual? Does only the paid version pick up this type of thing?
