Wordfence Detected Plugin Changes

    Hi there,

    Our security plugin notified us that the Contact Form Clean and Simple plugin had some changes made. I noticed the plugin was updated 8 hours ago, but our auto updates are disabled, so just wondering how can this happen?

    Sounds like a question for WordFence as I’m not sure what this means.

    Nothing to do with WordFence. The security plugin noticed code changes to your plugin on the following:

    • plugins/clean-and-simple-contact-form-by-meg-nicholas/vendor/alanef/plugindonation_lib/js/admin.js
    • plugins/clean-and-simple-contact-form-by-meg-nicholas/vendor/composer/installed.json
    • plugins/clean-and-simple-contact-form-by-meg-nicholas/vendor/composer/installed.php
    • plugins/clean-and-simple-contact-form-by-meg-nicholas/vendor/alanef/plugindonation_lib/PluginDonation.php

    Just need to know from you, if this was you issuing an update? If not, the plugin may be compromised.

    Ah, no not compromised, looks like I updated the donation library without bumping version number
