    Hello,
    I got an email from Google (pasted at bottom) to fix “Alternate page with proper canonical tag” but after researching it, Google also says that if it’s pointing to a canonical page, assuming my home page, which it is, there’s nothing I should do

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @marslanmaslam,

    These URLs have been known to show up in Google search/Search Console due to an automatic redirect to a search or home page when a 404 is hit on your site. This can be down to a misconfigured theme, or a redirect plugin purposely changing 404 behavior. When one of the wordfence_lh URLs is followed, the page should be totally blank in the browser. They are essential URLs used by Live Traffic to identify a human or bot visit, along with an ID to confirm whether they’re a new visitor or have been to your site before.

    If you start to see Google listing these URLs as “legitimate” pages on your site, we usually find that themes are the main cause. This is commonly due to a theme misconfiguration where they’re automatically redirecting any invalid page URLs to the homepage. If your site is redirecting to the home page instead, you will need to consult your theme developer to see what’s causing this behavior.

    Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Margaret

    @wfmargaret Hi,

    You keep telling us that this is a theme issue or a misconfiguration, but it IS NOT. Not sure why you keep spreading this incorrect information.

    Here, we use Kadence and there is nothing wrong with it or with its configuration.
