• The moment i updated this new version of wordfence, jetpack site statistics and google analytics dashboard for wp plugins are no longer showing up on wp-admin/index.php including wordfence activity in the past 2 weeks(it merely shows the heading but not stats displayed beneath it).

When i disable wordfence those 2 plugins are working normally. I should add that the installation of the firewall was successful. The following is the error from the browser console:

TypeError: jQuery(…).tabs is not a function
Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead.

Hoping that i will get help with this error because those other plugins are just very important to me as well.

    Hi Balinga,

If your host has a cache like Varnish (outside of WordPress), can you try disabling it or clearing it, and see if that resolves the issue?

I have seen a couple sites with script or css issues that seem to be caused by a combination of unusual Varnish settings and a change to the “Hide WordPress version” option in this version of Wordfence. (Disabling that option may also help.) Please let us know if this helps, or if the issue continues.

    WFMattR,

Thank you for your response but to begin with i really don’t know where to check if my host is using varnish outside of wordpress also i disable the “Hide WordPress version” but the problem still lingers.

For the varnish caching i merely check my cpanel and i did not see thing like that.

    Hi,

Varnish would most likely be visible in the site’s control panel if the host provides it, unless it’s not optional.

It’s possible that Wordfence and another plugin with a dashboard widget both use similar jQuery libraries which could cause a conflict. If you disable Wordfence temporarily, do the other plugins look normal?

I don’t think varnish is installed and like i said in my very first post above when i disable wordfence both plugin dashboards (jetpack site statistics and google analytics dashboard for wp) work perfectly.
