this is an old issue but never gets solved. If i want to update some zaps on zapier, i always have to disconnect wordfence, reconnect wordpress then revise on zaps, once the zap is confirmed set up right, then re connect wordfence. I tried to get in touch with zapier help, they told me it’s possible that wordfence has conflict with their plugin, but they asked me to add zapier agent to the whitle list. However i can’t see the white list agent option here. Can someone help? Thank you!

Hi @frasers, thanks for getting in touch.

When trying to connect Zapier, a false-positive may be blocking the request which would explain why disabling Wordfence solves the issue. You might need to enable Learning Mode for a short time if normal actions need to be allowed while trying to connect. You can read more about this (and also a method of allowlisting manually from Live Traffic) here:?https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/

Our option, “Prevent discovery of usernames through ‘/?author=N’ scans, the oEmbed API, the WordPress REST API, and WordPress XML Sitemaps” could be blocking the site from listing users if the call wasn’t made by an authenticated user. It may be worth trying to turn that option off in Wordfence > All Options > Brute Force Protection > Additional Options.

If you have tried and been unsuccessful with the above methods and have other settings such as 2FA turned on for admin logins, please let us know.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
