    Hi,

We have been experiencing problems with creating backups using Backupbuddy plugin and the only way we can make it work is by deactivating Wordfence plugin. We really like Wordfence so we would like to know if there is a way to avoid conflict.

  • Try excluding these files from the backup.
    /wp-content/wflogs/*
    /wp-content/wfcache/*
    .user.ini
    php.ini
    wordfence-waf.php

I’m having the opposite issue – Wordfence won’t finish the scan when Backup-buddy is installed – I excluded scan of /backupbuddy files and it works.

I’m having the opposite issue – Wordfence won’t finish the scan when Backup-buddy is installed – I excluded scan of /backupbuddy files but and now they work. This issue only happens with siteground host. Posting this for anyone who is having scan finishing issues with siteground hosting as it took a bit to troubleshoot and narrow down the problem.
