Hi, I am using the following plugin to offload my media to an Amazon S3 bucket:

    https://codecanyon.net/item/leopard-wordpress-offload-media/23728788

This has options to remove the media from the server once its offloaded to the S3 bucket, and to generate and offload Webp versions of the images.

With Wordfence also activated, 2 issues occur:

    – The media is not being removed from the server as it should be. It is offloading them to the S3 bucket, but also staying on the server.
    – Some thumbnail sizes of the Webp versions are not offloading to Amazon S3.

When Wordfence is deactivated, the media is being removed from the server once it’s offloaded to the S3 bucket and ALL thumbnail sizes are also offloaded in Webp versions as expected.

I can only assume Wordfence is blocking the media being removed from the server, and regarding the Webp files, perhaps limiting the AMOUNT of files that are offloaded hence it stops after a certain amount.

Is there a particular setting that I should disable in Wordfence to get things working with both Wordfence and Leopard installed? Or perhaps something I need to add in the IP Allow list? Thanks.

Hello @windurin and thanks for reaching out to us!

I actually had this same issue recently. Learning Mode resolved the issue for me as it teaches the WAF not to block this action.

From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the actions that were causing issues. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/ is an amazing resource for learning more about the WAF and learning mode.

Let me know if this helps!

    Thanks again!
