Hello, I am currently attempting to add more of my sites to Wordfence Central. However each new site I add ends up under “Connection Issues”. Under “Resolve” it says “Complete Setup”. When I click that it brings me to the WP admin for that site with a box displaying “Wordfence Central Status” as activated. However it does not display options below that allow me to continue setup. I have the rules on cloudflare configured for Wordfence and it has been 48+ hours since I created the rules. Any assistance on what might be wrong would be appreciated.

Hi @buck602, thanks for your question about this and sorry to see you’re having trouble connecting the sites to Central.

I would be tempted to try adding the sites directly from the Wordfence plugin rather than from the Central side. First, clear out the sites that appear in your Connection Issues tab.

Now head over to your site and log in as an admin. Navigate to Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data. Clear the connection data and then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the Wordfence Central widget.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issues also has some troubleshooting steps you could follow.

Connectivity issues can occur if you’re hiding the /wp-admin page, or the REST API is disabled or blocked, but I think your issue sounds like a previous connection failure is preventing you from moving forward.

Let me know how you get on!
    Peter.
