I have tried to add 3 sites to the Central Dashboard. All of them come up with a 404 error.

The Central dashboard does not show any information as to why this is happening when you click on “Show Details” on the Connection Issues screen.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    UPDATE

I think I know why this is happening. I think it is because I have the “Hide Login” plugin so instead of using /wp-admin I have something else. Does this prevent me from connecting to Central?

    FIXED

I figured out you can connect from within the Wordfence Dashboard once logged on.

    Hey @jupiter1955,

Thanks for the updates, and happy to hear you were able to track down the issue.

For others that may see this, when using a custom login slug you’ll need to connect to Wordfence Central from the Wordfence plugin Dashboard. Wordfence Central doesn’t have a way to determine what the new slug is to connect to the site.

Thanks again for sharing your findings, and please let us know if anything else comes up.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
