I recently noticed I cannot log in or out of one of about 20 WP sites I host. AS soon as I click logout I get a nginx 503 error. If I disable Wordfence I can log in/out just fine.

I read a few threads and the recommended solution was to up the memory limit but mine was at memory_limit 512M already.

Any other hints on how to debug this?
Any other info you would need?

    anyone?
any hints or tips what to check or do?

    Hi ovidiu,
If the error is from the server itself and not Wordfence I would suggest you check the servers error logs. If the error is from Wordfence, please provide a screenshot that shows the error screen and we should be able to help explain what is happening. Thanks!

Hi and thanks for the feedback. It was definitely a nginx error which didn’t even reach PHP so WP wasn’t involved and yet as soon as I deactivate WordFence it went away.

I can’t seem to reproduce it right now so I’ll set the status to resolved and will update the thread with more info if I can reproduce it and attach the logs.

Ok! I don’t really see this being a memory related issue. Sounds more like a redirect loop or something like that. If it’s not happening now I suppose it could also have been something temporary going on with your host. If you find any more info, let me know.
