Ever since I installed Wordfence on a site I manage pro bono, I am required to approve all blog comments manually — even though in my WordPress settings I indicate that a commenter only has to be manually approved once. Is there some setting in Wordfence that overrides this? All plugins and WordPress are up to date.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much for your great plugin!

    Hi,

Do you have “Hold anonymous comments using member emails for moderation” checked under options? It is on by default so try unchecking it and see if that helps.

    Thank you. Unchecked the box.

I had been looking for something like this, but couldn’t find it. So many settings & options in Wordfence to review, and I am new to it. Figured it was something simple like this.
