Thanks for your thoughts on Wordfence.
First, I need to correct you misunderstanding of the forums and how they work.
- These forums are operated by www.remarpro.com. Wordfence does not manage them at all.
- Per forum guidelines and rules these forums are 100% voluntary. Voluntary for you to seek help in or help others and voluntary for all the plugin authors to support or not as they see fit or are able.
- We do not offer support over the weekend for any product except Wordfence Response. If you would like to upgrade, you can read more about it here:

Pete, who normally works in the forums, is a trained and paid Wordfence Customer Support Engineer. He had a family emergency and couldn’t be here to answer your question today. I am trying to help by picking up what I can. I apologize for the delay.
I’m glad you were able to sort out your issue. Part of the reason the www.remarpro.com (not just Wordfence) forums exist is so users can help each other. It would be great if you could post what the problem turned out to be and the solution you found so that anyone else had this issue they could fix it too. These forums are indexed by Google so solutions here are visible to many people.
Just so you know, roughly 90% of our users are free users. We launched Wordfence with the idea that everyone deserves to be able to protect their website from hackers. We offer a plugin that has a full range of features, all fully functional, to protect websites. We also provide documentation online to help people solve their issues, which is also linked to throughout the plugin, so they can better understand and utilize the plugin. We aren’t able to provide 24/7 support here and no one would reasonably expect that. If you feel like the support is not up to par then we wish you well in whatever security solution you choose to go with instead.
