I have a website where Google would not index my pages and after many hours checking all relevant tools at Google Webmaster, I sent a request to a Forum for help. It would appear that using Country Blocking conflicts with Google Search – see forum response.

Possibly Googlebot is intermittently getting the same, meaning it thinks the site is offline.

    Anyone else had this problem?
