Have some landing pages I need to put pixels on. Downloaded a plugin that lets me do just that.

    1. Specified the page
    2. Added the pixel (javascript)
    3. Clicked SAVE
    4. Got Wordfence warning page with message about malicious practice or something.
    5. I COULD whitelist the page – but did not.

Does Wordfence commonly fire warning flags when javascript is used in a headers & footers plugins?

Can I just go ahead and whitelist the pages within Wordfence?

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thank you!

  • Thanks for reaching out.

You’re not adding that page to the allowlist. You’re adding the action. We work hard to try and reduce false positives in our firewall but we can’t anticipate how every plugin developer does things to make their plugin function. When we block an action that is normal go ahead click to allow the action. That should take care of the problem. You can also put the firewall into learning mode and then perform the action again which does the same thing.

Try that and let me know how it goes.
