We are using Fancy Product Designer (FPD) and WordFence, but the WF Firewall always blocks FPD from working when the firewall leaves learning mode. We’ve left learning mode enabled for months and it still occurs.

Allowing the action manually does NOT help because it seems to be a different specific action for every user (users create their own design) and every product. I am wondering if there is a blanket rule that can be added to allow all these requests or if we have any options here? Otherwise, we cannot use the firewall.

Here are two screenshots to show what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/Yjao9BE.

    Thanks!

    Hi @digitallion,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Our developers are aware of the issue and are currently working on fixing the conflict in future releases. However, I am unable to comment on the exact delivery timelines here on the forums. A few workarounds are available, in order to determine which one is the best fit for you, please share the information below.

    • Check Live Traffic to see if any new entries come up while using the Fancy Product Designer plugin. Make sure it is set to the All Traffic logging mode under Wordfence >Tools > Live Traffic > Live Traffic Options and send over updated error logs from Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics > Log Files to [email protected] with your forum username as the subject.
    • Send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com. You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks,

    Janet.

Hey, I’d be happy to do this, but can you please let me know if the firewall needs to be enabled when I check the first bullet item? If so, I may need to wait until the staging server is set up so as not to affect live users.

    Hi @digitallion,

Yes, the firewall needs to be enabled for both bullet items.
You can send these through when the staging environment is up and alert us.

    Thanks,
    Janet
