    This type of alert indicates that a file which could be malicious has been discovered by Wordfence during a scan.
    Such a file could have been placed by attackers trying to hack your sites or, as it sometimes happens, by the hosting provider (in such case, the file wouldn’t be malicious) implementing a new feature/product.

    I highly recommend you look into this guide in order to check if your sites have actually been hacked and to clean them.

    I would also invite you to send the file to samples[at]wordfence[dot]com so we can look into it.

    Hi @wfyann,

    And thanks for your response. I’ll certainly review and study the guide. Unfortunately, I have deleted the two files mentioned in my initial request having found later the ability to do so on the WordFence dashboard. I did receive a third which I can send to the email address you provided. Thanks again!
