Wordfence scan email alerts

    Hi,

    I am using the non premium version of Wordfence and I am not receiving post scan emails notifications, I was last week but have not received emails for the last scans. I sent a test email and it worked. Any ideas why the scan notifications have stopped?

    A ‘True’ result means WordPress thinks the mail was sent without errors. A ‘False’ result means that WordPress encountered an error sending your mail. Note that it’s possible to get a ‘True’ response with an error elsewhere in your mail system that may cause emails to not be delivered.

  • Hi zamano,

    Have you checked spam? Occasionally these types of emails end up in spam. And every now and then they are filtered out completely before getting to you.

    I might try temporarily changing the email address to a different provider, than the one you currently use, and see if you receive the alerts. If you do, its possible that the emails are sending correctly but being filtered out before they even get to you.

    Let me know what you find out.
