Word Press Install Problem

  • I am setting up a new site. I did the one-click install from Hostgator. It showed the install was complete and I got the email with my admin username and password. But it’s been since yesterday and still not site is up. I even thought maybe it didn’t install right. I tried to re-install, but it won’t let me because it shows as installed.

  • Lots of possibilities, but, by far, the most likely is that your domain name was just registered or transferred to Hostgator, and has not had a chance to take up to 72 hours to be visible around the world. Second most likely is that your domain name is not correctly pointing to your web hosting space at Hostgator.

    You might have more luck with Hostgator support on this.

    I think it would be the best for you if you just contact the hostgator support – just like jonradio said.
