Word Press Header Errors: file-access is disabled in the server configuration

  • “file-access is disabled in the server configuration”.

    I get this header error in my wp-admin. Is this an error on wordpress config or in your server config?

    Can anyone please help me?

    They said in support ticket that fsocket is disabled causing the header error.. They said we need to upgrade an account what the heck…

    By the way I suggest you another hosting provider its free https://www.host1free.com and I succesfully install WordPress in it using their Softaculous Auto Installer.

    Thnx, i was looking for another host anyway, the where to many things not doing what i wanted them to do :p

    Is it free hosting? Can you share the link to me?

    Ermm, you gave me a link for a new host, and i said i’m gonna try that one cause byethost wasn’t doing what i wanted/needed…
    In the past i’ve used freehostia, also with a autoinstaller with lots of scripts, but i can’t create a new site there atm :S
    I can’t use their subdomain anymore, i need to have my own domain or pay for one of them..
