I had my blog up and running fine. I wanted to add a site map so I created a sitemap page and tried to use Dagon Design Sitemap Generator. I cold not get it to work so I deleted the sitemap page. Noe for some reason when I enter my domain name it defaults to opening the sitemap page and I get a 404 error now. I checked the front page setting under reading section and it is set to last post and not static page. Anyone have any idea why it all of a sudden decided to do this?

Try decativating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 2.9) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0) to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

OK I have done all that now. Didn’t seem to matter still there, My site is digitalhound.net and for some reason WP is redirecting digitalhound.net/sitemap.

Your site seems like its working. How did you fix it?

I agree, everything seems to be working properly now.
