word match not working

  • Hi,

    what an amazing plugin! Thanks for the work.
    Unfortunately we have a strange behaviour on our site:
    Word match is not working, the plugin only finds the correct articles through the “sound alike” function.

    word match – does not find anything set to “2 words”
    loose search – does find totally unrelated articles
    sound alike – finds the correct article

    eg.
    /permalink-plugin-20/
    would find
    /permalink-plugin-2-0/
    through word match but does so throgh sound-alike.

    What could cause this behaviour?
    We would like to use only word match.

    Addition:

    Also the fixed permalinks are in the format:
    old-bad-slug//https://www.site.com/good-new-slug/

    Why is that the case?

    I am happy to pay for any solution, as this plugin would meet our needs perfectly.

    I installed the beta from your website, and that seems to do!

    I keep this open, as it is still true for the version posted here.
