Word into WordPress

In the beginning I was happy just having a blog and posting words. Now I have discovered text boxes and colors when I compose in word. I have created spiffy looking boxes of quotes and sentences in boxes with word wrapping, colors, shadows,etc to give my posts more sparkle. I was really exited until I tried to copy and paste them into WordPress only to find that all the effort I put into creating those effects doesn’t paste into WordPress. ??
