Word Document not linking

  • Hi,

    I have uploaded word documents to my site in the past and have been able to link to it no problem. This year I uploaded another very similar word doc into my media library and am unable to link to it. The File URL says it is located in the following string…

    https://web/www.(my website domain)/public_html/2014-Slash-Entry-Form.doc

    However, my previous documents have the following URL location as…

    https://www.(my website domain)/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/2013-Slash-Entry-Form.doc

    The difference in the strings is the addition of “web/” at the beginning of the string in the newest upload.

    Can anyone tell me why this happening and how to fix please? I’ve had image upload problems ever since I upgraded to the latest wordpress.
