Word Count does not appear in Editor

  • Hi Finn,

    I have ‘Use tinymce Word count’ checked, which should be the first thing you would have asked me. Still it does not appear in the editor when typing the words. Not even Bad Words are counted! And I want my users stop typing when reaching a certain amount of words.

    What could I do to get the counter back?

    By accident I preesed the visual editor tab and found the “word counter” at the bottom. Why isn’t it in the text editor as well. Can I make it appear there or if not, can I hide that text editor, so my users are happy to only use the visual editor with the counter.
    Maybe a shortcode or a setting?
