I have tried this issue on two entirely different WordPress installs and it happened to both.

I have found that when you have the following typed in a WYSIWYG, it will not save and throw a 404 error.

    System (EAS)

But, if you do it the following way it will save.

    System – (EAS)

It appears that the WYSIWYG editor will not allow a parenthesis directly after the word System.

It turns out it is a combination of a plugin or plugins. I tried this on a bare install of WordPress with no other plugins and it worked just fine. So, it must be a plugin or combination of plugins causing the error on the site it is happening to.
