Woosidebars Widgets Not Saving PHP7

I upgraded my server to php 7 and found that widgets in woosidebars will not save anymore. For example, no text widgets would save. Having googled I found a way around this – to switch on ‘accessibility mode’ (which works but makes updating widgets very slow and cumbersome). I suspect the incompatibility relates to woosidebars, are you aware of this issue in relation to PHP 7 and if so will there be a fix forthcoming? Thanks for your help.
