    Hi,

Can anyone provide info on using WooRewards and Point of Sale for Woocommerce? Can they work together?

    Thanks,

    Luke

    Hello,

It depends on what POS plugin you’re using.
If you’re using the official WooCommerce POS plugin, then it will be compatible.

If you’re using the free version, you can easily test it.
If you plan on using the pro version, there’s a 30 days free trial that will also give you the possibility to test it.

Either way, if you need help, you can contact us by using the support interface within the plugin. We’ll be happy to help you configure it with your POS plugin.

    Hi,
Sorry to bother again. I have gone over the doumentation a bit and installed the free version, before I continue to the paid version I just want to make sure I can achieve what is required.

The online store uses woocommerce which is for two shops, one a decorations and one a hair dressing salon. No products from the hairdressing salon are sold online. Both shops use the same Point of Sale for Woocommerce for the physical shop.

I am needing an immediate discount for customer loyalty for the hairdressing salon. Most of this I think is possible but its the final step that I can’t quite get my head around.

If I create a reward of a discount of 5% requiring 5 points, and each purchase (I need pro for a purchase from a specific category ie: les coupes) gets 1 point. Upon their 6th purchase from the category can the discount be automatically applied in the POS checkout?

I hope this is clear ??

    kindly,

    Luke

First, you can try the pro version for free for 1 month (There is no registration required, simply click the button). It will let you test all the features.

And, to answer your question, yes, it’s possible. In the reward, you’ll find a “Auto-Apply on Next cart” checkbox. So, every time a reward is generated, it will be applied on the customer’s next cart.
