Hi, I have just inherited a webpage for maintenance (still missing some data) and yesterday the credit card payment method stopped working in the payment page.

It says “Perdon, parece que no estan disponibles los metodos de pago para tu ciudad. Contacta con nosotros para darte mas opciones.” (Spanish). Meaning something in the lines of “Sorry, it seems there are no available payment methods for your city. Contact us for more options”.

I’m almost a complete newb at wordpress (I’m quite experienced with web developing, but mainly with Java and other technologies -DJango, RoR, AngularJs, Vue so I suppossed I would be able to deal with this).

The system status report is here:

This is the woopayments log for today:
    https://gist.github.com/Sabandijor/8c8a29d8c406eca5394d26b21f682dc0

Fatal errors (seems there are not many):

I have tried disabling almost all plugins but the woomarket ones and it didn’t solve the problem, also updated everything I could (without editing files manually) and it didn’t solve it neither.

    Thanks a million in advance.

    Hi @fernandoortigosa

It says “Perdon, parece que no estan disponibles los metodos de pago para tu ciudad. Contacta con nosotros para darte mas opciones.” (Spanish). Meaning something in the lines of “Sorry, it seems there are no available payment methods for your city. Contact us for more options”.

I ran tests on Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, and this message appears on all browsers.

Fatal errors (seems there are not many):

This error is related to the Elementor Pro plugin. The error message indicates that the system cannot find or open the ‘plugin.php’ file in the Elementor Pro directory. To troubleshoot this, either contact Elementor Pro support or reinstall it.

Everything seems fine, but it appears your site doesn’t have an SSL certificate. You’ll need one for WooPayments to work properly. Could you try installing an SSL certificate and see if that resolves the issue?

Most hosting providers offer free SSL certificates. You should be able to install it directly from your hosting panel at no extra cost.

If the issue still persists after installing SSL, you can run a conflict test to help you identify the cause of the issue. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let us know how that goes for you.
