    Hi @userweb

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, WooPayments uses Stripe as its underlying payment processor. While WooPayments integrates seamlessly with your WooCommerce store, Stripe handles the actual processing of payments and transfers to your bank account.

    Here’s how it works:

    • When a customer pays, WooPayments processes the transaction via Stripe.
    • Stripe collects the funds, deducts the transaction fees, and then transfers the net amount to your linked bank account on a set schedule (daily, weekly, etc.).
    • That’s why you’ll see the payout labeled as coming from Stripe, even though you’re using WooPayments.

You can review all transactions in your WooCommerce dashboard under Payments > Transactions. This will show details like the amount received, fees deducted, and payout status. If needed, you can also manage payout schedules and more from the WooPayments dashboard.

You can learn more about the partnership between WooPayments and Stripe by visiting this detailed guide: WooPayments Partnership with Stripe.

Hi, thanks, everything is very clear! There is only one thing I didn’t understand, so through WooPayments it is not necessary to have my own Stripe account?
How can I have the invoice for the fees withheld for the transaction?

    Hi @userweb

You’re absolutely right. WooPayments doesn’t require you to set up your own Stripe account. It’s powered by Stripe and automatically creates a special type of Stripe account called a “Stripe Express” account during the signup process.

If you’d like to check the fees charged for a transaction, you can follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Payments in your WooPayments dashboard.
    2. Click on Transactions from the menu.
    3. Select any transaction to view its details, including the fees charged.

Keep in mind that invoices for these transactions are usually generated monthly and are typically available around the 10th of each month. If you don’t see them right away, it might just mean they haven’t been generated yet.

If you have trouble accessing these invoices or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help! ??

    Hi @userweb ,

Thanks for reaching out! It looks like you’re navigating a different path.

To view recent transactions on your site, you can go to WordPress Dashboard  > Payments > Transactions. This section displays all recent transactions made on your site through the WooPayments plugin, provided your users have chosen one of the available payment options.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks, ok, now I saw where it is, I see that the invoices are under “documents”, if a transaction occurred on November 5th, will the invoice be available on November 10th or December 10th?
I see that there are other invoices but to download them it asks me to register the VAT number, I follow the procedure but then trying to download the invoices again it asks me to register the VAT number that I registered, what can I do?
    Thanks!

    Hi @userweb ,

Thank you for reaching out! Typically, invoices for the previous month are generated on the 10th day of each month. You should be able to access the monthly invoice reports for November on December 10th.

I understand you’ve encountered an issue with downloading other invoices, as it’s requesting a VAT number. Could you please provide a screenshot of how this appears on your end? This will help us better understand your current position and assist you more effectively. If you don’t already have a screenshot tool, you can use Snipboard.io to easily capture and share screenshots.
