Hi, I’m using on the https://bakgatbooks.co.za/childrens-books/children-age-10-to-12/ page next shortcodes:

    [woof_products is_ajax=1 taxonomies=’product_cat:83′]
    [woof_quick_search preload=1]
    [woof is_ajax=1 autohide=0 taxonomies=’product_cat:83′]

woof_products process taxonomies limitations correctly and shows only two products that belong to product_cat:83 (Age 10-12). But filter by product category shows ALL categories, not only this one. And same for Author, subcategory…
Of course if to choose some other category/subcategory or author from different category – we are getting empty search results, as woof_products will show results only from this category.

The last version of WP/Woocommerce/Plugin are installed, I have tested with Twenty Twenty theme – same result.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello

    This is absolutely correct behavior.

This attribute does not limit the display of filters, it is pre-filtering

Then how can be the display of product categories limited in filter – by selected category and its subcategories?

    Hello

In this case you can use the standard archive(category) page

the filter will automatically show only child elements of the current category

Ok, thanks. Will use alternate filter plugin, that allows to show only child elements of the current category on any page, where woocommerce shortcode [products] used with category limitation.
