When you view the WooCommerce Shop page or any product page this has the WOOF sidebar included where this is trying to show the ability to filter by price, category, colour and size.

The price field appears correctly but the other 3 have issues that need to be fixed. There is no default option, you can only see the top part of the words etc. Please advise how to fix this or “reset” so shows correctly.

Thank you in advance. Cheers Clare

  • Hello

It looks like you disabled the plugin. I can not test it – https://c2n.me/3WV7dQp.jpg

Yes I had disabled all the plugins temporarily to test compatibility issues against other plugins. Even when other plugins deactivated (except WOOF, WooCommerce and Woo Layout Injector) – this still did not solve the WOOF issue.

I have activated the relevant plug ins again including WOOF. Please can you investigate.

    Hi,

I have worked out the solution to this. Hence you don’t need to respond nor investigate.

FYI – I had BX slider in my website which links to a reference file https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.1.1/jquery.min.js

This file it turns out is not WordPress compatible and causes conflicts with WOOF plugin. As a result I have removed BX Slider from my site which has fixed my issues. I have reported the issue to BX Slider on the compatibility issue in hope they can fix for others so they don’t have the same issue.

    Thanks Clare

    Hi,

    2 questions re: https://belief.webexpertdevelopers.com/

    QUESTION 1:
Looking at the WOOF demo page it appears possible to have in the sidebar an option to search by SALE items (discounted products). How do I add this to the sidebar to filter by?

Please note in my WooCommerce > Settings > WOOF – Products Filter Options > Extensions I have ticked “On sales checkbox”.

    QUESTION 2:
I am wondering the best way to input MEN and WOMEN to filter by. Can you clarify?

The reason I ask is initially I had listed in WooCommerce Categories:
MEN and WOMEN were both as the “PARENT CATEGORIES”
These were all the sub categories (category types) and loaded them twice (once under men and once under women) HOODIES T-SHIRTS SHORTS LEGGINGS SWEAT PANTS BRAS GIFT VOUCHERS.
When using the filter however I could only select one item (e.g. not MEN + Shorts) at the same time.

Hence then I changed this removing MEN and WOMEN from the WooCommerce CATEGORIES. I added this into the attributes instead. This allows me to filter now by GENDER and by the sub categories (category types).

On each product page – there is only one gender per product and hence I have set this up in each Product Page with the Attributes and Variations e.g. Street Hood is only for Men and hence this is set as the default.

    Is this the best way?

    Thanks Clare

    Hello

    Please watch video – https://www.woocommerce-filter.com/video-tutorials#video_beGT6p_look

    1) Activate it – https://c2n.me/3X4dEOu.png

    2) You can use custom taxonomy
OR to hide it on product page – https://c2n.me/3X4f2c8.png
