woocommerce_message not showing in safari

I tested adding products to cart on your site on both Chrome and Safari to compare and they both behaved in the same way.

It did not show me any message, for both browsers, when I added something to the cart it automatically redirected me to the cart.

As I understand this is not what is happening on your end, correct?

Can you share screenshots or a screen recording of what happens on your end?

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to look into this.

I have changed this setting for now:

So now when someone tries to add something to cart it will go immediately to the cart after adding the product. If the product can’t be added, the customer still doesn’t see anything but at least the successfull case gives some feedback. That’s definitely not how it should be.

What I expect is that after add to cart user gets either a message saying the add was successful or an error message in the woocommerce_notice. And that for both browsers.

Can you please run a conflict test to see if something external is interfering with this?

To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

— Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

— Also, you can consider using a plugin like Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it is helpful to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

— It is important to consider as well a staging functionality in case you would not like to touch your production site (you can ask your host if they offer this service), or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

I can not figure out what it is. I’ve got a staging environment and a prod environment. On Stage the woocommerce_notice shows up in safari, in prod it does not. I’ve all the same versions of everything installed on both environments, copied css from prod to stage.

What else can I compare to find the difference ? I’ve been comparing for long time now, but haven’t figured it out yet.

OMG! I found it!

It’s not a chrome / safari difference. The difference is logged in / logged out user. I’ve been logged in on chrome but logged out on safari, which caused the different behavior.

Logged in, when add-to-card, then woocommerce_notice shows up (the green line behind the pop-up) and in the account pop-up all looks normal:

When logged out, on add-to-cart, the woocommerce_notice is not on the product page but it shows up in the pop-up with login:

This is where the login thing is configured:

The Login Thing caused all the trouble. I’ll create a ticket with who ever made GT3 Header Builder.
