Do you have any “optimization” or “caching” plugins installed? If yes, these can cause conflicts with the Action Scheduler delaying or stopping the execution of hooks.

As a first step, you will want to do a conflict test to see if the issue is caused by a plugin/theme conflict with WooCommerce. Here are the steps for doing a conflict test: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

If you find the culprit, please reach out to the plugin/theme developers and explain their tool is conflicting with the Action Scheduler.

Hi,

I did the conflict test but it didn’t help. The scheduled actions are getting more and more. This morning it was 2000 and now almost 9000. But because nothing helped I deactivated all plugins except woocommerce itself. And the scheduled actions (woocommerce_deliver_webhook_async) just keep increasing. So it has nothing to do with the plugin(s) I’m using? I like to hear from you.

I recently contacted my hosting provider and they increased my php memory limit. It is now above 256MB as in the thread you sent. And I already had WP-control installed. I have a cron job active for every 3 minutes. I see that all cron jobs are executed properly.
